Code of conduct

This code of conduct outlines the values, principles, and standards of behaviour expected of all employees, volunteers, ambassadors, and board members of the Collective Minds Foundation. Our mission is to support disadvantaged children by providing them with resources to develop their potential. Integrity, accountability, and transparency are crucial in our work.

This code of conduct provides guidelines for the behaviour of our board members, employees, volunteers, ambassadors, volunteers, and partners.

Our Values: Respect, integrity, inclusivity, and transparency.

1. We treat everyone with respect and dignity.

2. We act fairly and ethically in all our interactions.

3. We strive to create inclusive environments where everyone feels welcome and valued.

4. We are open about our activities and accountable to our stakeholders.

Behavioural Expectations Regarding Children:

1. Always act in the best interest of the children.

2. Ensure the safety and protection of the children at all times.

3. No child is discriminated against based on race, gender, religion, social background, or disability.

4. Respect the privacy of the children and treat their information confidentially.

Behavioral Expectations Regarding Colleagues and Partners:

1. Collaborate with colleagues, volunteers, and partners in a way that reflects our values.

2. Communicate in a respectful, transparent, and open manner.

3. Conflicts are addressed constructively.

Behavioural Expectations Regarding the Foundation:

1. Take responsibility for actions and decisions.

2. Manage the foundation’s resources carefully and efficiently.

3. Avoid any form of personal conflict of interest.

4. Comply with all relevant laws and regulations in all areas where we are active.

5. Keep confidential information about the foundation, its clients, and partners secure.

Collaboration with Partners:

1. We collaborate with our partners based on mutual respect and shared responsibility for our mission.

2. We are transparent in our communication and financial transactions with partners.

3. We ensure that all partnerships contribute to our objectives and the needs of the children.

Social Responsibility:

1. We conduct our activities concerning the environment and society.

2. We engage with local communities and collaborate to maximise the impact of our programs.

3. We ensure a safe and healthy environment for all program participants.

Implementation and Enforcement:

All individuals involved with the Collective Minds Foundation must read, understand, and comply with this code of conduct. Violations of this code may lead to disciplinary actions, including termination of involvement with the foundation. Questions, concerns, or violations can be confidentially reported to the foundation’s board. This code of conduct will be regularly reviewed and updated to ensure it remains relevant to our mission and work. All individuals involved with the foundation are encouraged to contribute to developing and improving this code.
